L.E.A.P INITIATIVE

Learn, Earn, Achieve, Progress

The L.E.A.P. Initiative was created to strengthen our communities by providing the people in our community education and training to help improve their lives, help our communities Healthcare providers close the gap of Illinois nursing shortage, and educating people in providing skilled care to our most vulnerable and endearing citizens.

The L.E.A.P. Initiative’s Apprenticeship program has been made possible through Illinois Nursing Academy and a collaborative effort between Long Term Care Providers, Assisted living Providers, Home Health and Hospice providers. We recognize that our communities Healthcare providers require skilled workers, and we are committed to finding solutions that meet the needs of both our students and our communities.

We designed the L.E.A.P Initiative’s Apprenticeship Program as a way to develop our community’s workforce and serve the needs of older adults in our community by offering skilled job opportunities to those who otherwise could not afford to attend college to obtain this certification on their own.

If you’re ready to start a career where you’ll build long-lasting relationships and be fulfilled professionally and intellectually, then we’re excited to work with you.
